Peels

Our board certified dermatologists and physician extenders can diminish many signs of aging, skin discoloration such as sunspots or melasma, and acne scarring on the face as well as other areas including the chest, back and hands. Whether you receive a chemical peel or our more gentle option of the Silkpeel®, you can see:

  •  Fewer lines and wrinkles.
  •  More even skin color.
  •  Brighter complexion.
  •  Smoother skin.

Note that certain chemical peels require downtime. For best results 2 or more treatments are generally recommended.

Frequently Asked Questions

How does it work?

Our board certified dermatologists and physician extenders will apply the peel liquid quickly and evenly, then watch your skin carefully in case of discomfort. After the peel comes off, your skin will be treated as needed.

How long will the results last?

Most results are long lasting, depending on the care you provide your skin after the peel is completed.

Does it hurt?

You might feel a mild stinging while the chemical solution is on your skin. If you are getting a medium chemical peel, you may feel stinging or burning for up to 20 minutes.

What can I expect following the treatment?

Your skin will be red. After the redness disappears, scaling may develop, which lasts 3-7 days.
